Shoulder

The shoulder joint provides a great range of motion, allowing the arms to move in almost any direction. With our extensive experience working with both amateur and elite athletes, we are capable of diagnosing and treating almost any shoulder condition.

With insufficient space between the upper arm bone and the shoulder roof, lifting the arm can lead to pain and restricted movement. The cause is impingement of the tendons, which can subsequently become damaged.

Acromioclavicular joint (AC joint)

Between the shoulder roof and the collarbone lies the acromioclavicular joint. In addition to acute dislocations with an elevation of the collarbone, degenerative damage with bone growth and impingements can also occur.

The rotator cuff consists of a group of several muscles that ensure good mobility of the arm in the shoulder joint. When experiencing pain or limitations, individual muscles or their tendons may be damaged. A precise assessment is important to initiate the correct therapeutic steps.

Shoulder dislocation

In the case of an acute dislocation or dislocated shoulder, there is severe pain and limited movement. This condition should be promptly addressed and further investigated to determine the cause and appropriate treatment.

Collarbone - Clavicle

The collarbone connects the sternum to the shoulder and is involved in almost every movement of the shoulder joint. Acute injuries (e.g., fractures or breaks) should be diagnosed and treated promptly to avoid long-term movement restrictions.

Calcific shoulder

Calcific shoulder, or calcific tendonitis, refers to the deposition of calcium in various tendons around the shoulder joint. Depending on the size and cause of the calcium deposits, various therapies are recommended. It is important to conduct a thorough assessment to achieve successful treatment outcomes.
